Transformation of Early Childhood Islamic Education Learning in Building Children’s Awareness of a Healthy Environment at TK Negeri Pembina Sindue Tombusabora
Abstract
This study aims to identify learning strategies that can be transformed in early childhood education to build children’s awareness, with habituation from an early age that must be carried out by both teachers and parents, by applying Islamic values in children’s daily lives both at school and in their surrounding environment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation techniques at TK Negeri Pembina Sindue Tombusabora. The results show that the implementation of learning strategies based on the play method, the integration of health values by teachers, and the active involvement of parents are able to increase children’s awareness of (1) personal hygiene, (2) healthy eating habits, and (3) maintaining the school environment and the surrounding environment. This study concludes that the transformation of early childhood Islamic education learning can be an effective model in shaping a healthy lifestyle culture from an early age.
